Cuttin’ up: Bounce Television’s hit sitcom returns for its third season with more laughs

Bounce will double the laughs by kicking off season three of its hit sitcom In The Cut starring Dorien Wilson and Kellita Smith with two new original episodes back-to-back 9:00-10:00 pm. (ET) on Tues. July 11. All-new In The Cut episodes will continue to premiere Tuesday nights at 9:00 pm (ET) through the summer.

Coming off its highly-rated second season, In The Cut stars Wilson (The Parkers, Dream On) as Jay Weaver, an accomplished entrepreneur and barbershop owner who is kept on his toes by Cheryl, played by Smith (The Bernie Mac Show, The First Family), the co-owner of the beauty salon next store and his love interest. Ken Lawson (The Parkers) returns as Jay’s 32-year old illegitimate son from a short-lived fling now in on the family business as does John Marshall Jones (The Smart Guy) as fellow barber and pal Smitty. Among this season’s storylines: Social media pressures, positive pregnancy tests, old grudges, evading the government, a special engagement and much more. Guest stars include Tamar Braxton, Ed Lover, DC Young Fly, Cocoa Brown, Nephew Tommy, Marques Houston and Earthquake.

‘Snowfall’ Premieres TONIGHT at 10/9c on FX

NEW DRAMA SERIES “SNOWFALL” PREMIERES TONIGHT ON FX AT 10/9c

FX Networks’ highly-anticipated new drama “Snowfall” premieres tonight at 10/9c. Co-created by John Singleton, Eric Amadio and Dave Andron, the 10-episode series explores the beginnings of the crack era in 1983 in South Central Los Angeles.

FX has spent the last few weeks building buzz around the series via screenings in various cities around the country. On Thurs, the network previewed the pilot episode in Dallas. A number of influencers attended including Malik Yoba (Actor), radio personality GRIFF (Erica Campbell Morning Show), Kaela Davis (Dallas Wings), actress Taja V. Simpson   (“Tales”), Snoop Robinson (Writer/director of SRG Entertainment) and Bo-Talley Williams (Black Pearl Entertainment). After the screening, K104FM radio personality Bay Bay moderated a Q&A with co-creators John Singleton and Dave Andron along with cast members Isaiah JohnAngela LewisMichael Hyatt, and Juan Javier Cardenas.

On Saturday, an intimate “Snowfall” screening took place in New Orleans at the Theatres at Canal Place. John Singleton was on hand to thank guests for their support and to provide insight on the series. Special guests included recording artist Tank, tv personality Angel Love(Basketball Wives LA 2), Q93 radio hosts Wild Wayne and Angel Saunders and actor Dennis White (Notorious)
