GRAMMY nominated artist, Da’ Truth dropped a new single bearing the title of his EP series, VET. Da’ Truth teams up with fellow veteran and GRAMMY nominated producer Spechouse, but also brings along Word Records phenomenon Steven Malcolm, and upcoming new-school child prodigy, Bookie The Baby.
‘VET’ is a series of projects connecting the veterans and new-school generations. “(Much like) …Kirk (Franklin) took me under his wing and allowed me on the HERO tour…(with him and Mary Mary), I am passing on to the next generation what was given to me.” He says in a Philadelphia in-studio interview.
While his latest EP features beautiful singing, chords, Da’ Truth shows us he can still drop a thoughtful, stadium-status banger with this single, reminiscent of his hit-bearing collaborations with Lecrae, Canton Jones, and KB.
Travis Greene continues to cement his place as a top Gospel artist by securing three Billboard Music Award nominations across all Gospel categories, as announced live this morning on NBC’s “Today” show. Travis is nominated for “Top Gospel Artist,” “Top Gospel Song” and “Top Gospel Album” for his chart-topping album titled CROSSOVER: LIVE FROM MUSIC CITY. The 2018 Billboard Music Awards will air on NBC live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, May 20 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT.
Greene won “Top Gospel Song” at last year’s 2017 Billboard Music Awards with his No. 1 hit single, “Made A Way.” With today’s announcement, Greene has now received eight career Billboard Music Award nominations.
