Worship Leaders Jerard & Jovaun Sign with Motown Gospel, Set to Release EP “What A Beautiful Name’ March 15th

You have heard their work behind some of your favorite artists on your favorite albums and as the newest members of the Motown Gospel family, the time has come for them to put their own spin on some of your favorite worship songs. Though notoriety for the Jerard and Jovaun Woods has been found mostly in liner notes and in industry circles, their rendition of “What A Beautiful Name” spread like wildfire online and across social media pages. Their five song EP by the same name features more than arrangements of these songs, it’s a direct view into the genius that keeps these duo in high demand, year round. Also part of the project is “Oceans” which was elicited a social media challenge among musicians, capped off Quennel Gaskin on piano.

You can pre-order the album, today!

The duo, currently worship leaders at Bethesda Church in Ft. Worth are a husband and wife singing team who have quietly been making a name for themselves as go-to background singers. With over two decades of experience working with industry heavyweights like BeBe and CeCe Winans, Natalie Grant, Donnie McClurkin and Yolanda Adams, Jerard & Jovaun have started a popular Facebook series performing unique renditions of worship songs and hymns. Their cover of “What A Beautiful Name,” has become a viral sensation garnering over 1.66mm views!

Last year, the couple released “Higher Higher” which remains currently available for purchase on all digital music platforms.

The EP is set for a March 15th release, but each pre-order will receive a download of the album version and a more familiar, a capella version of “What A Beautiful Name”.

There is no denying that the world is in dire need of greater togetherness, love, and a lot more fun. For Hip Hop artist Miranda Writes, being able to inspire her listeners through her upbeat, playful tracks is what making music is all about.

On top of a fast-growing career, Miranda Writesis also a college student with a 3.9 GPA, as well as a talented snowboarder. It’s obvious Miranda brings her strong work ethic and upbeat vibes wherever she goes.

“What’s most compelling about her sound is her ability to seamlessly fuse myriad influences, ranging from 90’s rap to today’s best dance music into her sound, thus making it accessible, as well as artful,” commented music critic, novelist and Huffpost contributor Randy RadicMiranda Writes is currently in collaboration with producer Cool Typhoon, whose beats have appeared on E’s The Platinum Life and Oxygen’s The Bad Girls Club. Together, they will release Miranda’s next project, “In My Head.”

The Ministry Entrepreneur Explosion Conference Is Coming to Dallas

The Ministry Entrepreneur Explosion Conference Is Coming to Dallas

**This is NOT a worship conference. This is for artists who want to use their music ministry gifts beyond their local church!**

The Incubator Creative Group presents the Ministry Entrepreneur Explosion Conference using Christian music as a tool of evangelism, encouragement and ministry beyond the conventional possibilities of Sunday church services. The Explosion is not another worship conference. It has a decided emphasis on the performance aspects of music verses the use of music in a worship setting. The Explosion also illuminates a perspective for making a music ministry work as a sustainable small business enterprise or self-supporting hobby.

You want information? We’ve got information, click here!

The Explosion is more than a conference. It is an experience. It includes not only the live event itself but also seven hours of pre-conference online training and interaction. This in-advance experience provides a unique vehicle to facilitate the development of a relationship between you as an artist and Incubator (the sponsor of the Explosion). The Explosion utilizes a proven system for growth deployed by Incubator over its 30-year history… Active Relational Training (ART). The result of ART is the establishment and deepening of a relationship between each artist and Incubator, which correspondingly creates a high level of energy and positive atmosphere among the registrants gathered for the live event. The Explosion may feel more like a family reunion than an educational event!

The Ministry Explosion will come to Dallas on Friday and Saturday July 27th and 28th. It’s a can’t miss weekend (Friday night and and all day Saturday) conference igniting Christian artists to take their music and message beyond Sundays! For more information and to start your conference track, today, click here!

Not your average inspirational song, “Woah” is a breath of fresh air, with a dash of worship, attitude, and realness. The placement on the Netflix film is big for Serious Voice, you can imagine her reaction to the news…”woah”!

“The basis of the song is that we don’t achieve success on our own merit, there’s a definite higher being who seeks to bless us. When that door opens or awesome thing happens, it automatically has us saying something like a ‘woah.'”

“Woah” showcases Serious Voice’s strong alto unabashedly as  Radio Personality Mr. C joins her on the third verse for an explosive climax.  This “urban worship” track produced by So Fo Real, is bound to resonate with many and lead them into true worship.
