About Hope and Arlington Jones

In 2005, God gave Hope a detailed vision of a music arts center. She wrote down the ideas and shared them with Arlington. One year later, she started writing a book for musicians and their spouses called The Music Stand. In 2009, Arlington was praying and he heard the voice of God say: “You are to build an ark just like Noah. Something that people haven’t seen before. A music ministry that has not yet fully been created. I’ll show you how.” Arlington and Hope knew this message was a confirmation and they felt a strong calling to step out on faith to see the vision come to pass. After much prayer and counsel, they organized The Music Stand in 2013.

Having overcome personal and professional obstacles, Arlington and Hope have a heart to encourage musicians and their families to rise above the challenges of life and reach their full potential. Since the beginning of their marriage, they have mentored individuals and couples in the music industry and beyond. They are known for producing inspiring music and exciting concerts.

All in all, the ultimate vision is for The Music Stand to be an “ARK” for musicians and music lovers. ARK represents arts renaissance with Kingdom purpose. The long term goal is to build The Music Stand Performing Arts Center & Museum, a state-of-the-art complex with a theater, recording studio, practice rooms, lodging for guest artists, educational rooms, an art collection, and more. We also want to become an exclusive Steinway piano facility. We want to offer scholarships to young musicians who seek to pursue a professional career in music. We want to be a global outreach to music lovers and professional musicians.

Arlington Jones is a classically trained jazz pianist, prolific composer, and Steinway Artist. He performs and teaches internationally. He mentors musicians and stays involved with music programs and organizations. Hope Jones has a background in the hospitality services industry and loves serving others. She manages her husband and works closely with him in the music industry.
